What is SolStrategy in simple terms?
SolStrategy is the DeFi analog of Michael Saylor's MSTR built for the Solana ecosystem. SolStrategy lets you get leveraged exposure to Solana (SOL) without the risk of getting liquidated or suffering from the value decay that typical leveraged products have. Every SSTR token is backed by at least one real SOL, with additional upside potential.
How is this different from just buying leveraged SOL tokens or futures?
Unlike leveraged tokens that lose value over time due to frequent rebalancing ("volatility decay") or futures that can liquidate your position during market drops, SolStrategy provides leverage through financial engineering without these drawbacks. You can't get liquidated, and there are no funding fees to pay.
Who is SolStrategy designed for?
SolStrategy serves multiple user types:
Investors seeking leveraged SOL exposure without liquidation risk (i.e. SOL bulls)
SOL holders looking to borrow against their SOL without liquidation risk

Can I use BullX, BonkBot, Photon etc?

How can I participate in SolStrategy?
You can participate in several ways:
Buy SSTR on exchanges for leveraged SOL exposure
Purchase convertible notes by bonding stablecoins to receive CNT + NFT Options
Provide liquidity to SSTR or CNT pools
Trade the separated components (CNT or NFT Options) based on your market view
Why are the CNT and NFT Option separate tokens?
Separating them gives users more flexibility. You can sell the CNT for immediate liquidity while keeping the option for potential upside, or you can sell the option while holding the more stable CNT. This allows for more sophisticated trading and risk management strategies.
What's the long-term goal of SolStrategy?
Beyond providing leveraged SOL exposure, SolStrategy aims to become a significant holder of SOL through continuous accumulation, similar to how MicroStrategy accumulates Bitcoin. This potentially benefits the entire Solana ecosystem through increased demand and reduced circulating supply.
